Participants will receive general information about the Nexus and activities already underway by the Texas A&M research partners and associates. Participants will learn details of six San Antonio case studies from each lead researcher and of proposed National Science Foundation work from the WEF initiative leadership. Open discussion will focus on stakeholder engagement and information sharing opportunities for current and future Nexus-related research. Specific topics and goals will be defined in advance of the final agenda, which tentatively includes the following:

In addition, the workshop will be open to anyone interested in the Nexus concept, related research and implications.
This website will contain information about the workshop, provide access to videos, provide links to pre- and post-workshop surveys, and have informational materials for both advance and post workshop networking, reports, activities, etc. produced by the workshop.
Invited stakeholders will be asked to participate in a pre-workshop on-line survey that will help organizers gauge interest and current understanding of the Nexus. The program will be adapted and developed in relation to the input received. A post-workshop survey will be conducted to allow follow-up questions, stakeholder input, information sharing, as well as to gauge interest in further engagement with Nexus researchers.
